Privacy at a glance: We use account and purchase records to provide access, usage records to administer free limits, and optional email/push preferences to deliver alerts. Service providers process data for functions including hosting, payments, sign-in and notification delivery. The website also uses advertising and analytics technologies. This notice explains your choices and how to request access or deletion.

1. Who is responsible and what this covers

WP Baseball Predictor is operated by WP North Entertainment Group Ltd. This notice covers our website, iOS app, account services and messages sent to our business. Contact our privacy team at [email protected] or by mail at 199 Bay Street, PO Box 323, Toronto, ON, M5L 1G2, Canada. It does not replace the privacy notices of Apple, Google, Stripe, Meta or other services you use independently.

2. Account, purchase and device information

Sign-in and access: Google or Apple sign-in supplies account information, such as an email address, a private relay email or provider identifier. We maintain account identifiers, session credentials and access records. A guest purchase can be associated with a generated account identifier before you choose to link it to a sign-in. Information you provide in support correspondence may include your name and contact details.
Purchases: We store records needed to verify, restore and administer access, including product/plan identifiers, purchase and subscription references, amounts or currency where supplied, purchase dates, expiry/renewal status, and refund or revocation events. Apple processes in-app payments and Stripe processes website payments. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
Notifications: We store your notification choices and delivery/deduplication records. If you register for push, we store an Expo push token linked to your account or guest identifier, device platform and registration timestamps. These are functional identifiers even though they are not advertising identifiers.
Use of the service: We store account-linked calculator usage counts or events and dates/times and sharing-limit records to administer allowances. Your selected teams, starters and injury adjustments are transmitted to calculate the prediction you request. These selections concern sports players; they are not a request for your own health information. Network requests also transmit technical information such as IP address and request/browser details, and service/security logs may contain account or transaction references.
On your device: The app uses iOS Keychain through SecureStore for session credentials. It also stores local settings and acknowledgement/review-prompt records. During purchase-to-account recovery, it can temporarily retain the email and credentials needed to complete that transfer. This is more than a single session token.

3. Why we use this information

We use these records to authenticate you; provide predictions and the features in your plan; verify purchases and restores; manage renewals, refunds and entitlements; enforce usage limits; deliver requested communications; resolve support requests; prevent misuse and duplicate messages; diagnose failures; and meet applicable accounting or legal obligations. Website analytics helps us understand visits and product interactions. Custom predictions do not place bets, and we do not process wagers.

Where a law requires us to identify a legal basis, providing the requested service relies on the relevant contract; optional communications or technologies rely on consent where required; security, support and service administration may rely on legitimate interests subject to your rights; and mandatory records are retained to meet legal obligations. A new, incompatible purpose requires the notice and consent or other lawful basis applicable to that use.

4. Email and push choices

Depending on your preferences and access, notifications can cover Picks, Parlay, articles and results, including generic availability notices for users without paid Picks access. We use saved preferences and entitlement status to select recipients and content. Delivery records help avoid duplicate alerts. Pick-lock targets and the distinction between preliminary and saved selections are explained in our Terms and FAQ; delivery is not guaranteed before a game starts.

Email is delivered using Google Gmail/SMTP, which processes recipient addresses and message content. Push is delivered through the Expo Push Service and Apple Push Notification service, which process delivery tokens and notification payloads. Our push payload can include pick text and a destination screen/date; it does not need to include your email address. Notifications may appear on your lock screen according to your device settings.

Manage the available categories and content preferences in Account/Settings. Use the unsubscribe link to stop the email category or mailing indicated by that link; promotional email choices can be separate from pick alerts. Device notification settings can block push display. Disabling alerts does not cancel a paid subscription. Purchase, security and support communications are separate from optional alerts; a message already handed to a delivery provider may still arrive after a preference change.

5. Providers, social messages and AI-assisted support

Our providers include Google Cloud for hosting, Google and Apple for sign-in, Stripe and Apple for payments, Google for email delivery and website advertising/analytics, Expo and Apple for push delivery, and Meta for our Instagram interactions. They receive the information required for those functions and may have their own obligations and privacy terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, to address fraud/security or legal claims, or as part of a lawful business transfer with appropriate protections.

If you message or comment on @wpbaseballpredictor, we may receive the message/comment text, account name or identifier, timestamps and conversation/post references through Meta. Our business reply-drafting workflow uses Anthropic Claude to prepare suggested responses for human review; message content can therefore be processed by Anthropic. Avoid including payment-card numbers, passwords or unnecessary sensitive details in messages. We do not need access to your unrelated private conversations. Service providers retain and process information under their applicable terms and policies.

6. Website cookies, advertising and analytics

Essential session cookies support sign-in and access. Website pages may load Google Analytics and, for users without ad-free access, Google AdSense. Those services may use cookies or similar identifiers and receive technical/interaction data; ad-related data may be combined with information about other sites under Google's policies and your choices. Ad-free access suppresses website advertisements, but does not by itself disable essential cookies or website analytics.

You can manage cookies using your browser and adjust Google's advertising choices at My Ad Center. Blocking cookies can affect sign-in. This Privacy Policy and continued use of the site are not, by themselves, consent to non-essential technologies where affirmative consent is required. Contact us to exercise applicable objections or advertising-data rights; external ad settings do not necessarily control all first-party collection. We do not treat a push delivery token as an advertising identifier.

7. Storage, retention and international processing

Our application servers are hosted in the United States. Our company and providers may process information in Canada, the United States and other countries where they operate, where laws and government-access rules can differ from your location. Contact us for information about the providers and transfer protections relevant to your data.

Account and access records are retained while needed to provide and administer your account. Retention also depends on support needs, notification suppression, security investigations, refund/dispute periods and applicable accounting/tax obligations. Closing an account does not necessarily erase financial, transaction, fraud-prevention, delivery-log or backup records immediately. Those retained categories remain subject to applicable privacy rights and lawful retention requirements; we do not promise instant deletion of every copy.

The baseball Instagram reply-draft queue is scheduled for deletion of entries older than 90 days. This queue schedule does not delete the original conversation held by Meta or every separate backup or support record. You can ask us for the retention criteria and deletion status of a particular category. We use access controls and other safeguards appropriate to the service; no system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Access, correction, deletion and other rights

Use the iOS Account screen's deletion option to initiate deletion of your app account, or contact [email protected] for account or social-message privacy requests. Provide the account email or social handle needed to locate your records, but do not send passwords or full card details. We may request proportionate identity verification. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an Apple or Stripe subscription: cancel through the relevant billing provider as well.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, a copy, correction or deletion of personal information; withdraw consent; object to or restrict processing; request portability; or exercise applicable advertising sale/sharing opt-out rights. We will address requests within applicable legal time limits and explain any lawful exception or extension. You may raise a concern with us or your local privacy authority, including the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your EEA/UK supervisory authority. Exercising a right does not remove statutory consumer protections; deletion or withdrawal of data essential to a feature may mean we cannot continue that feature.

9. Adults and changes to this notice

The service is intended for adults meeting the age requirements in our Terms. It is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us. We update this page when our practices change and will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. The date above identifies this version.
